The next 3 post that I have planned have something in common – they all have only 3 ingredients! I wanted to post a few holiday recipes that aren’t as involved as some of my other treats. I know that a lot of you don’t have the time around the holidays to do the some of the recent recipes I’ve posted (See: Snowflake Sugar Cookies).
The first recipe in the series are creamy peppermint white Russians. Have you ever had a white Russian before? It’s one of those sipping drinks that are really good, but are also really rich so you will feel satisfied after just one. This is not to say you can’t move onto other drinks!
Peppermint White Russians makes 2 drinks
2 oz Peppermint Mocha Kahlua (alternatively you can use regular Kahlua with a 1/4 tsp peppermint extract)
1 oz vodka
2 oz milk, half-and-half or cream
In a large glass or bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Divide between two glasses and add ice.
For a special touch, you can add a candy cane rim by moistening the edge of the glass (before filling) with water and then dipping it in crushed candy canes.
