Chicken Fajitas

Me and Mexican (I use that term extremely loosely) food photography obviously don’t mix. Seriously, how do you make it look more appetizing? Tips are welcomed. Anyway, although this looks borderline disgusting, it’s a good fajita recipe. I swear.

Chicken Fajitas (serves 2+ leftovers)
Ingredients:

2 bellpeppers, cut into strips (you can use any 2 colors you like- I use green and red or orange)
1/2 red onion, cut into strips
1 large chicken breast, cut into strips
olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
a sprinkle of cayenne pepper
a sprinkle of red pepper flakes
a sprinkle of oregano
1/3 cup+ of water

Saute bell peppers and onions in a bit of olive oil (approx 1 tablespoon). When the peppers and onions have softened add chicken. Cook chicken until no pink remains. Add spices and water and cook and stir on medium heat until most of the water has evaporated. Serve hot with cheese, sour cream, and salsa on warm tortillas.
