BLT tastes great on ciabatta that’s been toasted in the oven with a slice of provolone on the top half.
I cook the bacon in the oven for 12 minutes on 400F, add the ciabatta for 2 minutes (on a separate pan), then add the cheese to the top pieces of bread and bake for another 2 minutes. You just need to add crispy lettuce and slices of tomato and you have your sandwich. We ate our BLTs with pita chips and spicy hummus. It was a tasty lunch!
